If there’s one thing you need to know about me it’s that the only lip products I wear are nude. I don’t even own a red lipstick (gasp). I have an entire mini drawer filled with nude lip products ranging from liquid lipstick, regular lipstick and glosses – however I always find myself rotating through the same 5 products. Before I show you which ones I use you’ll notice a trend, I love pinky-browny nudes. I have light-medium skin so I find the best nude products that look best on me have brown or terracotta undertones.

NYX Lip Lingerie- Ruffle Trim

If I had to pick one liquid lipstick to wear the rest of my life, it would be this one. I bought this liquid lip more than a year ago and still use it daily. Unlike most liquid lipsticks, this formula isn’t drying and feels more like a mousse. The colour is a “my lips but better” shade and I can wear it with basically any eye look. I also like that when it starts to fade it doesn’t look as noticeable as other lips since the colour is very close to the shade of my own lips. I will definitely be repurchasing this once it runs out- plus it’s affordable!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick- Hudson

This is a newer product for me (I’ve only been using it a couple weeks) but I’ve been wearing it enough to consider it in my top 5. The formula of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipsticks is a little more drying so I always make sure to moisturizer my lips the day before so they’re ready to go. This colour is a darker and more mauve version of NYX’s Ruffle Trim and is what I wear when I’m bored of wearing that one.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick – Ashton

This liquid lipstick is considered my “bold lip”. I know to some it’s not bold at all but for me it is. I wear it mostly for nights out since it’s a deeper terracotta nude and is still noticeable at night. It’s not something I wear everyday but still consider it to be one of my favourites. This shade would also be PERFECT for deeper skin tones as an everyday nude!

Fenty Beauty Glass Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer

This was the first lip gloss that I bought and actually liked. It’s also the product that started my lip gloss obsession. I literally went to Sephora the day Fenty Beauty launched in stores to get this lip gloss! The name describes the shade perfectly- it’s a universal colour that would look good on all skin tones- technically a rosy sheer nude. It smells AMAZING- peachy vanilla! I wear this gloss on days when I want my lips to have a bit of colour and hydration without being too much. Plus the packaging is so cute!!

Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer- Love Drunk

It took me so long to convince myself to buy this product. I mean, who spends $35 on a lip gloss? Apparently I do because once I tried this on I knew it was a product I’d be repurchasing. First of all, I LOVE the colour. It’s a “my lips but better” shade. While it is a gloss- it’s very opaque and adds a beautiful shine to the lips. It also has a slight minty scent which I personally love. It is a lip gloss so it doesn’t last all day but I find that this formula lasts longer than the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb. I wear this at least 3 times a week and will always repurchase it.

Thanks so much for reading and I hope that maybe you’ll go out and try out these nude lip products! These colours may all look really similar (I admit it ok) but they definitely really look different once they’re on the lips.
