Everyone has those days where they don’t want a full face of makeup. You’re going out to the grocery store, maybe just going for a coffee or it’s a Monday. So these are the moments where you decide to do a “no makeup” makeup look! I also bring these items with me when I want to freshen up after the gym.

Concealer

This is the most important thing for me! Since I’m just wearing this for coverage, I use a thicker one like the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer to cover up dark spots, acne scars and under eye circles. The coverage is really good for no makeup days. I then use the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush to buff it all in. The unique shape of the brush also works really well to buff out concealer under my eyes too.

Powder

Having combo-oily skin, using a powder is a must no matter what type of making I’m wearing. I really love the Maybelline Fit Me Powder because it’s super affordable and isn’t too heavy on the skin or under eyes. The colour range is pretty good too. I then use the Real Techniques Powder Brush to set my whole face. This brush is super fluffy and soft! I LOVE using it on my face and haven’t reached for another powder brush in a while.

Brows

Brows are always a must. However, when you’re in a rush, no one has time to sculpt and shape their brows to perfection. I use the L’Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper to brush through them which gives them a really fluffy natural look. I find this gel is really good and stays in my brows all day and doesn’t flake. I even use this gel on the days where I do sculpt my brows because it adds extra colour.

Blush

Blush hands down is one my favourite makeup products in general. Once you put on foundation or concealer, it tends to wash out the natural colour of your face which I why I love to add blush. The Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush is my favourite formula! It lasts such a long time which is great because blush tends to be the first makeup product that comes off. Adding it to my “no makeup” makeup look gives me a healthy look. I use the Morphe E4 brush for this. While it’s technically a contour brush I love the shape of it because it hugs my cheeks perfectly.

Mascara

I never leave without mascara. I have short straight lashes so a eyelash curler and mascara are always a must. I really love the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara. It was my first high end mascara and  I’ve repurchased it again already. It gives my lashes really good length and can hold a curl all day. For “no makeup” makeup looks I don’t wear eyeliner or eye shadow so this mascara is good enough to make my eyes stand out.

What makeup products do you use for those minimalist days? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Nice! I am going to have to try that Fit Me powder. I’ve enjoyed the rest of the line and currently use a more expensive powder for my no makeup days. I like the UD Naked Skin Ultra Definition Powder Foundation for no makeup days so having a cheaper option will be great!

    1. I totally feel you! I love my high end products but having a cheaper option to go to is the best 🙂 Hope you like it and thanks for reading!
